Have you wondered what that 'warm and fuzzy' feeling is that you get in some cities? What is it about that feeling that some cities possess and others not? How do we experience this feeling in specific city places or just the urban environment in general? We suspect that this may be loveability-a somewhat elusive and enigmatic phenomenon-that needs to be pinned down to be better understood. We are curious about this and attempting to do just that! Our foundational study on this topic is the EU-funded MSCA-PF project, LIVE-LOVE. In this project we are exploring loveability as the fresh interdisciplinary approach to enrich the quality of living experiences in European cities through creative cultural spaces-comparing Barcelona, Spain to our local testbed of Vienna, Austria (the most 'liveable' city in the world!).
